AI can now do much of the information work in a biotech. What it cannot supply is context, judgment and aspiration. Those still live in a handful of people. I write for them, and I mentor them.
I mentor founders in venture building: strategy, intelligence, the fundraising story, the team, partnerships, and the decisions no one else can make. And, because you are carrying a company and a life at the same time, the question of who you are becoming while you build it.
One rule keeps it clean: I don’t take operating or fractional roles in companies whose founders I mentor. I stay outside your org chart, so I never become one of the problems you have to manage.
I have built ventures across medicine, clinical research, AI and education, and led corporate development at a cell therapy company through its IPO. I’m newer to biotech than many people in the room, and I bring a different lens: a neurologist’s, and a teacher of consciousness at CoCreating.School. The question I keep asking our industry is what it is like to be the person at the center of it.
